Welcome to Cave Springs Animal Hospital & All Cats Hospital. Come visit our unique veterinary office with separate waiting rooms for cat and dog owners. Your pets safety and health are important to us. Our veterinarians and staff are here to serve you.
Our staff realizes that your pet is an important part of your family and we are very conscientious in providing your pet with the best possible care. We believe strongly that a combination of proper diet, exercise, regular vaccinations and heartworm control go a long way in keeping your pet in top condition. Every pet that is vaccinated or hospitalized receives a thorough physical examination.
Each of us working at the hospital is very concerned about you and your pet. Phone calls and questions are welcomed. Many times your confusion or anxiety can be alleviated by talking to us. We are here to help.
We recently installed our new blood chemistry machine, the Catalyst Dx Chemistry Analyzer. This machine allows us to run blood work in less time and run multiple patient samples at the same time. Faster blood test results means faster treatment for your pet, tailored to their needs. This new analyzer also has improved technology that removes impurities that can falsely affect your pet's test results. This makes for more reliable results. We will also have the ability to run certain tests we used to send out, such as screening for pancreatic disease in dogs, bile acids (a liver function test), and cortisol (that screens for adrenal diseases).
Dr. Pamela Echterling, receptionist Connie Burgdorf, and bookkeeper Gaye Rieschel recently attended meetings in Kansas City, Missouri to further their ability to give your pets the best in care. Dr. Echterling attended classes in internal medicine, surgery and behavior. Some of the topics covered were kidney disease, bladder disease in cats, obesity and intestinal parasites. Connie attended classes in team building, problem solving, communication and motivation, among others. Gaye attended practice management classes which included communication, practice growth, leadership and teamwork.
All three attended the exhibit hall which showcased new medications, laboratory equipment, text books, nutrition, parasite control, dentistry, radiology and pet products. All three came home with more knowledge and a renewed passion for animals and their care.
